Roller Coaster Apocalypse VR is a roller coaster VR game where you play on one of three roller coasters. The name might imply that the true focus is roller coasters; it's actually the apocalypse. After that happens, what you end up doing is shooting down the apocalypse from atop your roller coaster ride.

Where Are These Asteroids Coming From?

The game requires a Microsoft VR headset, but once you have that, it's off to the theme park. During the initial phase of the game, you ride on a roller coaster during a sunny day with no asteroids or anything silly like that. That doesn't last forever. An unnatural night falls and the world is pelted with dangerous asteroids and worse! It's your job to protect yourself and the roller coaster by using a powerful laser weapon to destroy these mysterious... things.

A Survivable Apocalypse

Overall, Roller Coaster Apocalypse VR is a fun diversion and although it doesn't have much depth of play, what it does have is entertaining. It's notably not a big cause of motion sickness either, having tried it with multiple players, and that makes it more appealing than some other VR games that might exist, including other roller coaster titles.
